• Advises and helps students at the University of Applied Sciences Deggendorf to plan a Semester Abroad
• Is responsible for the organisation and administration of European Partnerships within the ERASMUS-Programme,
• Coordinates non-European university partnerships,
• Provides information about scholarships, applies for and administers scholarship programmes (for foreign study and internships)
• Organises Preparatory Courses for outbound German and inbound foreign students
• Is responsible for international marketing of the University

Furthermore, the International Office organises the Tandem Programme (Link) in conjunction with the Language Centre and takes care of international students, scholarship recipients and guests to the university.

Regular Activities:

• Information Events about Study Abroad Programmes in different countries (e.g. Asia, Europe, USA: each winter semester)
• International Week (annually in May)
• Intercultural Training for Outbound German and Inbound Foreign Students
• Orientation Week for foreign students (takes place at the beginning of each semester)
